SCUDO SYSTEM.
SCUDO SYSTEM.

SCUDO SYSTEM is a water-based, trowel-grade waterproofing membrane designed for below-ground protection of concrete structures. It provides outstanding adhesion, flexibility, and resistance to compression and hydrostatic pressure — all without requiring primer or protective layers. Ideal for foundations, retaining walls, planters, and concrete slabs.

Technical information:

  1. High resistance to Punching and Compression
  2. Excellent waterproofing and hydrostatic pressure resistance
  3. Highly elastic and flexible under varying conditions,
  4. Primer-free application with strong substrate adhesion
  5. Self-protected, no additional protection needed
  6. Certified for professional below-grade waterproofing
Detailed Info.

Scudo System is a high-performance, water-based, trowel-grade waterproofing membrane specifically engineered for the long-term protection of below-grade concrete structures. Formulated with advanced elastomeric resins and recycled rubber compounds, the product exhibits exceptional mechanical strength, flexibility, and adhesion to a wide range of mineral substrates including concrete, masonry, and cinder blocks.

The membrane provides superior resistance to positive hydrostatic pressure and compression loads, ensuring durable waterproofing performance even in environments exposed to soil, drainage layers, river rocks, or sand. Its self-protected composition eliminates the need for additional protective layers or primers, significantly reducing installation time and overall system complexity.

Scudo System is ideal for waterproofing and protecting structural elements such as retaining walls, foundations, footings, planters, precast blocks, and concrete slabs supporting green roofs or paver systems. When applied at increased material consumption rates and with appropriate detailing, it may also serve as an effective vapor barrier for slab-on-grade applications.

Application is performed on clean, dry substrates using a smooth spatula or airless spray pump in a single continuous coat. Once cured, the membrane forms a seamless, highly elastic, and durable waterproofing layer that maintains long-term stability under varying load and moisture conditions.
